HASHMARK desk · Friday, Sep 25, 2026

No. 4 Ole Miss visits No. 21 Florida on Saturday (2:30 CT, ABC). Live HASHMARK: Ole Miss −2.5 / 56.8%. Vegas close on the schedule: Florida −3.5, O/U 58.5 — another winner flip on the SEC slate.

Ole Miss jumped to AP 4 after beating LSU 32–24. HX still has the Rebels 8th (5.45) — four spots behind the new ballot. Florida is HX 24th (3.50) and AP 21st in its first Sumrall-era ranking. FPI is warmer on Florida (16th) than HX is.

The injury cloud is sourced. Junior RB Kewan Lacy re-injured his surgically repaired left shoulder vs LSU and opened Wednesday’s SEC availability report as questionable. Pete Golding said the MRI wasn’t nearly as bad as we thought and called him a game-time decision (SI Ole Miss, Sep 24). Yahoo notes LSU ran for 172 yards in Oxford — Florida’s Jadan Baugh has 458 rush yards and eight touchdowns through three games.

Why it matters

Second ABC winner flip of the day; Lacy status is the national desk’s injury lead.
